You can sometimes find camera film in Tanzania, but don’t count on it. Occasionally, you can find it available at some wildlife lodges and afew random markets, but the prices are ridiculously expensive and more often than not, it’s just hard to find.
You should bring all your camera film from home. Take into consideration that if you also plan to go on a safari, and take pictures of animals, you will need even more film. Sometimes people take hundreds of pictures on safari, or on the mountain, and end up having to conserve on other parts of their trip.
The key thing to remember is to just bring more than you need. At some point during your trip, you might see that magical sunrise from Kilimanjaro, or you might have spent two hours watching a lion stalk a zebra - and you want to get that great shot. These are the moments when you need to make sure your have ample film!
