Kilimanjaro From Moshi Town

This is one of my favorite pictures of Mount Kilimanjaro from Moshi Town. Although Kilimanjaro doesn’t look dramatic like typical mountains with jagged edges, this pictures shows how the mountain rises from the forest below, and makes it the largest free standing mountain in the world. The side of Kilimanjaro that is not covered by clouds is the part where most climbers head to the top of the mountain.
